ORC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Everybodies expected the tipical Italian weather during the Orc World Championship in Ancona, but june reserved some rain, wind and cold to the 100 boats fleet competing in the Championship.
Hurakan, the TP 52 owned by Marco Serafini, got the title in the last racing day, with a 25kts gusts over Calipso 4 (Montefusco Sails) that was leading for the first 4 days.
In the B class, it was the NM38 Scugnizza named World Champion, against UkaUka (2nd) and South Kensington (3rd).
Both of the World's Corinthian Titles were conquered by Montefusco's Boats, it was The GS42R Man, in the A Class, and South Kensington in the B.
Our best wishes to Riccardo Dibartolomeo with MAN and to Alessandro Consiglio with SOUTH KENSIGTON.
Next Orc appointment is in Ravenna for the Italian Championship in the end of july.
