Maxi
The results obtained in inshore and One Design racing have led the Veleria Montefusco to develop and enter the Maxi circuit.
The product testing and developing was mainly taking place on boats that were directly coordinated from the staff of Veleria Montefusco, as for example the 60-foot SY PEGASO or the 80-foot IDRUSA, achieving important results: 3rd place in Barcolana and the 1st place and record holder of the Brindisi-Corfù as many many others. The results obtained but also all the Maxi owners who have chosen Veleria Montefusco as their sail maker have made us proud and satisfied, but also gives us the right input to get better and never stop to improve.
The experience that Veleria Montefusco acquired in the Maxi world has always been on a progressive basis producing sails for many sailing boats and winning over the past years important regattas such as the Transocean “ARC Atlantic Rally for Cruisers”, “Rolex Middle Sea Race” and finishing always in top five in category super Maxi on regattas as the Barcolana in Trieste where the Farr80 Idrusa took third place, beside dominating the off-shore races in the Mediterranean.
